A self-driving car that can do this. This is not science fiction but the very last and most secret Apple creation. Here. I'm going to tell you everything I know about it.
According to the German newspaper Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung, Apple runs a secret lab in the heart of Berlin, which makes perfect sense because Germany is the cradle of luxury car manufacturers like Mercedes Benz, BMW or Audi. And this country is ideal for recruiting brilliant minds for project Titan, the codename for the AI car programme. However, no one has any record of these facilities. So what do you think? Is it actually there?
Don't get excited Apple hasn't confirmed it yet. But someone slipped by saying this car might be ready sooner than you can imagine. Two people who are involved in the project stated for the British news agency routers that they'll start to produce this self-driving automobile in 2024. Probably postponing it until 2025 because of the pandemic. Even so, the famous analyst Ming Chico, who's technically the apple release Guru has said you're most likely to know about this car not until 2028 or later. In any case, no matter what the release date is, I'm pretty sure you'll be shocked.
It's not actually the Apple Car, but it's pretty close. According to a Business Insider report, the project engineers want the car to offer these features spiracle wheels that allow the car to drive sideways automatic doors that open and close quietly and interior without a steering wheel or pedals and displays with artificial or augmented reality. Of course, these features may or may not be included in the final prototype as vehicles manufacturing can change over the years. But at least I gave you an idea of the incredible car that's coming.
Apple doesn't settle for cutting edge technology, it seems that they've decided to go further. Taking a look at the patents registered by the company over the last years. All signs indicate that the vehicle will have truly innovative systems in the automotive industry. For example, the seats will be adjusted as you wish as soon as you get closer to the car. And as you already know this will be a self-driving vehicle with an infrared sensor system to identify objects on the street and avoid accidents. Can you imagine starting your car's engine from your iPhone? Not only that, but the car would also recognise patrol officers gestures. This is almost a car from a science fiction movie, isn't it?
And if you still had doubts, here's the undeniable proof that the Apple Car will soon become a reality. The company already has a driving permit for some of its autonomous vehicles with are currently being tested on California highways. In April 2017. The State Department of Motor Vehicles processes the paperwork so three Lexus RX 458 units can cruise down its public roads, of course, as long as six human drivers are there to oversee them. Now, you know, if you live there, keep an eye out. Some of them may surprise you while driving.
An accident on its record, as you heard, and it isn't just speculation, the California Department of Motor Vehicles itself confirmed this. But before you get alarmed about how safe this self-driving car will be, let me tell you it wasn't its fault. This happened in August 2018. When the Apple Car was driving on the roads in Sunnyvale Silicon Valley, it was going at one mile per hour and waiting for a safe gap in traffic to merge onto the expressway. Suddenly, someone driving a Nissan LEAF rear-ended it. Yes, this time the human was responsible. Is this a case of machines overcoming humankind? Affirmative.
