I've spoken about the para SF briefly before, but here's a full post dedicated to 10 facts about the parrot SF. And y'all ain't ready for this one.

How's it going, guys? This is Artan here back with another post and I'm wearing a jacket because it's cold outside in case you're wondering. Okay, so now if you're new here to LOFTIEST10 facts, we post amazing content about the different countries' cultures and people from all around the world. And in this post, yep, like I said, we're looking at the power of SF.

👉   The first thing I want to share about them is the power of Special Forces, commonly known as the power SF is a special operations unit of the Indian Army. The power SF long-form is Parachute Regiment and Special Forces and it's a part of the Parachute Regiment. It's responsible for missions such as special operations direct action, hostage rescue, unconventional warfare, special reconnaissance, foreign internal defense, counter-proliferation, counterinsurgency seek and destroy.

👉 Now that unit was born out of world war two with the creation of the 50th parachute brigade in October of 1941. Nine power SF was created in the year 1966 as a ninth parachute commando battalion and it is the oldest of the Hara SF units in the Indian Army.

👉 The motto of the pair SF is men apart every man an emperor, and this was a famous adage that was used to describe the heroics of the paratroopers during the Second World War.

👉 Also what you got to know is that the Parachute Regiment currently has nine Special Forces you're born Territorial Army and they have one counterinsurgency battalion the pa ra SF operates in assault teams that work behind enemy lines and the pair SF has about 1200 personnel maybe closer to 1500 based on some estimates, and these guys cannot reveal their identity publicly obviously for good reason. They do top-secret missions all the time.

👉 Now let's take a look at their parents of the Pari SF commandos. The power SF also wear a maroon beret with a special forces tab on the shoulders and members are allowed to wear valuation which is a sacrifice patch on their right pocket below their name tag. But this is an exclusive privilege only the power commandos are allowed to wear that patch.

The power SF personnel are allowed to grow their beards out just to make it easier to blend in with civilians and the insignia of the Pari SF  is a dagger with wings and it looks like the British Special Air Service insignia. Yeah, like almost identical.

👉 So what exactly is a training process like? Well, first of all, Indian paratroopers are volunteers and they're put through a probationary period, slash selection process of three months for paratroopers, airborne battalions, and six months for the power of Special Forces battalions. It's said to be one of the longest and toughest training processes in the entire world and trainees they face sleep deprivation humiliation, exhaustion, and mental and physical torture. Because the training is so intense, the selection rate is less than 10%. And a candidate is not inducted into the special service until completion of the valuation pad where after training a candidate is involved in active operation in a hostile zone for one year.

👉 The initial training to become a special forces operator is about three and a half years and the daily routine begins with a 20-kilometre morning run infiltration exfiltration assault intelligence-gathering ambush tactics, counter-ambush tactics raids and sabotage martial arts training tactical driving linguistic training just to name a few and you know that was a lot.

Also firing while making their way through an actual mind path is also part of their training exercises.

👉 So I briefly touched on the history of the formation of the power SF at the beginning of this episode. But there's a lot more that has to be said the parachute units of the Indian Army are among the oldest airborne units in the world. As I mentioned, the 50th Indian parachute brigade was formed in October 1941.

The brigade was made up of the British 150 first parachute Battalion, the British Indian Army 150 second Indian parachute battalion and the 150 third Gurkha parachute battalion the Parachute Regiment was formed from these and several other units in the year 1952. However, following India's independence, India kept only one parachute Brigade, and that was the 50th It consisted of three battalions and since then the Parachute Regiment has grown to 14 battalions, including pora SF battalions based on the latest information

👉 They have a nickname the Red Devils, and that was given to them by the soldiers of the German Africa corps who fought against them in Africa in World War Two. The name red came from the maroon berets that they wear and just imagine how intense you got it To be given a name like that red devil yeah just shows you that these guys do not play around.

👉 Because of its role their regiment must be kept at an optimal level of efficiency. So compared to other units in the Indian military, the pair SF are rather young.

They're extremely physically fit though and mentally aware and intelligent and innovative as well as highly self-motivated.

👉 And the final thing I want to share about the power SF is that these special forces battalions are organized entirely differently in a way that allows them to operate in smaller teams. These special forces unlike the airborne, they're used more for special missions and operations in enemy territory, which require a lot of secrecy and the ability to operate in very small teams of maybe five or six men. The SF rarely operates as an entire battalion because of course, that will get problematic when there are too many people in the field you might get found out

Well, that's all the facts I have for you guys in this blog, and I know yet Oh, Already right? Well, the Paris f you know they're truly world-class and if you want to see more post like this comment below
